Piper is a great dog who grew up running the mountains of Colorado. She is 4 years old and has been raised in a home with another golden retriever. Her first 2 years she had an abundance of outdoor activity and off leash time. She is very food and treat motivated, learns quickly and overall is a very sweet girl. - In the last two years we started a family and moved to Virginia living a slower lifestyle. She is good with them and loves to give kisses but she can be pushy for things she wants and will frequently knock over the small children, will steal snacks out of their hands and isn't as gentle as we would have liked to see. - With our lifestyle change the last two years we do not get out as much as we used to, and while we go on regular walks, it's not as stimulating as the activity level she grew up with. She has also began showing some hostility towards other dogs she doesn't know at times, which has led to less off leash time and distrust.
